Weekender 2018

We’re coming in HOT with a heavy serving of drum ’n’ bass at this year’s WAE. Hospitality, Rampage and Belgian artist, Netsky, will all be hosting stages in Velder Woods. We’ve spotlighted the three hosting partners below and included a drum’n’bass playlist to get you educated and amped up for July!

Hospital Records is the brainchild of Chris Gross and Tony Colman. The label was launched in 1996, with its early drum’n’bass output earning the imprint a dedicated underground fanbase. In the 2000s, the label shifted up a gear, with Tony and Chris compiling and releasing the first in a freestyle series of compilations, Out Patients, signaling that Hospital was no longer “just” a drum’n’bass label. Hospitality, the label’s own club night and stage hosting concept, started in 2005, and since then, has taken the world by storm. The drum’n’bass staple’s stage will feature artists, High Contrast, Danny Byrd, S.P.Y, Calyx & Teebee, Lenzman with Tyler Daley (Children of Zeus), Logistics, Keeno, Urban Dawn, MC Wrec, MC Dynamite and MC Fava.

We promised more drum’n'bass, and now we’re definitely delivering. Rampage, the biggest drum’n'bass and dubstep party in the world, will host an exclusive Dutch showcase at #WAE. Prepare to be engulfed by LEDs, lights, lasers and lots and lots of BASS from Noisia, Andy C, Black Sun Empire b2b State of Mind, Dirtyphonics, Funtcase, Kings of the Rollers, Murdock, Radar Records Soundystem and Signal b2b Disprove.

The revered Belgian artist and champion of that clean-cut new jungle sound, Netsky, invites an eclectic group of friends to perform on his very own stage at #WAE. Expect to receive a potent mix of electronic music genres from Slushii, Camo & Krooked, Dimension, Holy Goof, Hush, and of course, Netsky. Make sure you check out artists, Camo & Krooked and Dimension for a solid dose of drum’n’bass.
